Wednesday
I have not done much at all this week. I have been really
tired and spent it sleeping on the bed. I have no energy
and can't be bothered to do anything at all. I have the
occasional sniff at the panic mouse, but I don't feel
like playing at all.
Thursday
Argh!
This
afternoon mum went upstairs and shut all the doors. I
know this sign, it means I am about to be trapped and
put in the cat box. I made sure that I hid behind the
CD stands, as I know she can't get in there to pick me
up. She tried to lure me out with treats and food but
I wasn't falling for it this time. However, she did manage
to get hold of me and sure enough I was put in the cat
box and took to the vets. We were sat there for ages and
then the vet came and took me into the back, shaved my
neck and took blood samples from me and took me back to
mum.
After another long wait we finally went in to see the
vet and get the results. Thankfully all my internal organs
are OK. Mum got the tests done as she was worried the
FIV had become active and I was lethargic because something
was wrong inside of me, but I am OK. The vet said I am
probably lethargic as my food has been changed to Hills
indoor cat, and it gives less energy. As I am inside a
lot, I don't need high energy food, as I am not using
lots of energy.. so my intensive sleeping is probably
due to lack of energy… what a relief, I thought I was
ill!
Friday
Another day spent sleeping, this time on mums lap and
not on their bed!
Saturday
Mum
and dad were both home today and I spent the day sat with
them in the front room… dosing of course!!! They went
out this evening and I was locked in my room for a while.
When they came back they played with me for a couple of
hours and then we all fell asleep as it was about 2am.
Monday
It must be nearly Christmas time. Today mum spent the
afternoon wrapping loads of presents. I helped her, of
course. As she wrapped each present and put them to one
side, I tested the strength of the wrapping paper with
the claw test. With a few scratches the paper came off,
and it failed the test. I don't think she was too happy
though as she had to re-wrap a number of gifts! After
that dad came home and they put up the Christmas tree.
I spent ages playing with the tinsel on the floor, and
then fell asleep on it after all my hard playing. When
I woke up the tree was finished so I crawled under to
get a better look. It was very nice and warm under there.
Tuesday
Mum wrapped dad's presents today and put them under our
tree. She spent ages getting nice metallic string stuff,
curled and wrapped around the gift. Within minutes I was
under the tree trying to unwrap it. I got told off though
and ran off… did she not understand I was only trying
to help dad find out what he had been bought! At every
opportunity this evening I tried to unwrap a bit more,
until she got fed up with me and took the gifts upstairs
and put them away. I guess I'll not find out now 'til
Christmas day!
Wednesday
Mum spent this afternoon downstairs reading a book and
I was sat on her knee. How excellent, getting cuddles
whilst she was reading. I fell asleep purring my head
off, a very happy and contented cat!
Thursday
Mum was bringing in shopping from the car and the front
door was open this morning. I jumped on the windowsill
in the porch and onto the top of the front door. As she
came in with some bags I jumped down in front of her and
gave her a shock. She didn't realise I was on top of the
door! What a laugh!!
