Saturday
Mum spent the day in bed and dad went out. I stayed next
to mum all day. I was purring my head off lying on the
bed getting constant cuddles… what a cool way to spend
a day.
Wednesday
Spent
a lot of the week outside. I keep jumping out of open
windows in the house and staying out until quite late
at night. I know if I go back earlier, all the windows
will be closed and I will not be able to get back outside.
The weather is lovely and I like sunbathing on grass,
rather than from behind panes of glass.
Friday
It wasn't nice weather today. It was cold and rainy for
the first time in ages. I spent the day on my cushion
in front of the window watching the baby birds on the
bird table.
Mum brought a plastic jug into the lounge tonight to water
the plants. She got distracted and was talking to dad,
whilst she was doing that I decided to investigate the
jug and stuck my head right inside. I didn't realise though
that there was still water inside it! I got my ears, face
and whiskers soaking! I did give mum and dad a good laugh
though!
Sunday
The next round of the game took place today. Mum and dad
were watching the Formula 1 European Grand Prix this afternoon.
Dad was on the phone and I thought it was a perfect time
for round 4. Mum foiled my plans though. As she saw me
running across the back garden she shouted to dad that
I had something in my mouth. Dad then stood in the doorway
and stopped me from getting inside. As I stopped in surprise
I changed my grip on the bird. It was so fast; as I changed
my grip it flew away and survived to see another day.
I was so surprised that it had flown away I just stood
there looking at it flying…. Drat… will
have to catch something else and postpone round 4… it
will happen, but not today.
Monday
Drat!
What
a day. It's raining today and I don't feel like going
outside so I have been lazing around the house. Mum isn't
too well today. She bent down to stroke me but she gave
me an extra gift. She was sick on me…. Yes, I know… she
was sick on me…. How bad is that? I spent ages cleaning
myself… but human sick smells so bad… kitty sick is so
much nicer. May have to escape in the rain for a natural
bath…. I am keeping well away from her now, just in case
I get another load coming my way. I don't think I'll be
going near her for a cuddle for a long time to come!
Tuesday
Henry was in our garden for ages today. He was eating
the catmint plant that is on the patio. I can't see the
attraction to it personally but he often comes in our
garden and has a nibble. Ban used to love the catmint
plant, but I am not too taken with it. Some cats are addicted
to catmint, and others like me, are not bothered by it…..
I don't do drugs!
A
new box came into the house today and I have spent most
of the day and evening asleep in it, claiming it as my
own. I love sleeping in cardboard boxes… I must be slightly
strange!
Thursday
Managed
to escape out of the office window this morning. As I
jumped off the garage roof there was a dog right in my
path… I wish that I could jump back onto the garage but
it's slightly too high for me to jump back up… I don't
think I have run so fast in ages.. how do you shake off
a small but very fast dog that is intent on having you
for a late breakfast?
Phew
- managed to shake of the dog eventually. His owner was
not too happy with him I don't think. We were both gone
for a while having a full and long chase. I was sat in
a tree tormenting it for ages - us cats are so much cleverer
than daft dogs… next time I am going to a tree with things
in that I can drop on the dogs head! Anything hard will
do, I'm not fussy!
