Saturday
Henry came round to play in our garden today. Mum made
me stay inside whilst she went out to play. He was sat
on top of our garden wall and kept sticking his head through
the wall and playing. I wanted to go out, but I may infect
him so I stayed inside. A few hours later when there were
no other cats around, mum let me out to play in the garden.
I ran straight to the wall where Henry played and had
a sniff and then sat on the tree stump at the back watching
the birds in the trees. It was nice to be outside. I stayed
out for about 10 minutes whilst mum did some weeding and
then went back inside.

Sunday
Mum and dad spend so much time on the computer there is
not enough time for me! I have decided to learn to use
the computer. I have been sitting on the desk watching
the screen for a while now. However today I tried something
new. They have a scrolling text screensaver and I have
been trying to catch the text with my paws. When it comes
to the side of the screen I have been trying to catch
it, but it disappears before I stop it. I will keep trying.
When it disappears the picture comes back on the screen
and it gives me a shock. I also chase the cursor when
mum or dad is typing but it gets them a bit mad, so I
wait until they leave the computer and play on my own.
I know they can hear me tapping the keyboard when they
are downstairs. I think that they think I have another
secret website that I do when they are downstairs!
Monday
I
have started another new habit today. I have mentioned
a few times that I like playing in the bathroom sink.
Well today I did it 4 times. I wait until mum goes in
the bathroom and I sit under the sink mioawing until she
turns on the tap. I jump up and play with the water, trying
to stop it from going down the plughole. It's an excellent
game. I also get a drink of fresh water while I am playing!
Wednesday
Mum found Fishy for me today. I lost it a while ago under
the settee, but I spent ages playing with it tonight.
It is my favourite toy again, well, next to the box which
is my toy and den and bed all rolled into one large box!
I have played in the sink every day this week. It is becoming
a regular thing. Mum sits there and watches me laughing…
Another
new thing I did today was show mum how clever I was by
walking along their kitchen unit. She didn't think I was
very clever and pushed me down. I don't think she was
very impressed. I also showed dad when he came home and
he wasn't impressed either. I can't understand why not
though.
Friday
I got tricked today and pushed into the cat box. I hope
I am not being taken to the vets again, I feel OK so I
shouldn't be.
OH NO !!! We arrived outside the vets and
I started to howl in my box, but then we went into another
room and I realised that I wasn't seeing the vet but I
was going to get Reiki. I curled up behind the sofa while
mum was treated and then the lady played with me and I
got Reiki from her touching me. It's wonderful. I feel
much happier and less stressed, and I wasn't sick in mum's
car on the way home, which is a first for a few times!
Saturday
Mum
and dad were out a lot today and I stayed in my room playing
with fishy. I got lots of cuddles when they got back though.
Sunday
I
made mum and dad cry today. I had just eaten loads of
biscuits and I went to play with fishy on top of my box.
I slipped and fell into the box, most ungracefully for
a cat. I tried to get out and look cool but I must have
eaten too many biscuits because I can normally get out
easily but tonight I got stuck! My head, shoulders and
front paws were out of the hole on the top, but my bottom
and back paws were stuck fast inside the box. They were
laughing so hard that they started to cry and dad said
to me - "Does my bum look big in this box???"
. cheeky git!!! I
knew I was stuck, I didn't need them poking fun at me!
I managed to wriggle my bottom out and then ran off to
eat a few more biscuits whilst they composed themselves.
Tuesday
I have made an amazing discovery today. If I sit in the
sink when the tap is running, and stretch my front paw
out under the running water, give it a quick shake when
it is quite wet, and then lick the last bits of water
off you get a much better wash than when you just use
spit… I think I will try get a full wash under the tap
next time I get to play… must be better than having to
lick all over yourself, it makes you rather thirsty for
a start! Have you ever head the saying "Cats aren't
clean, they are covered in spit…" well, this may be
the end for that saying.. especially now I have made my
discovery public to other cats… get a wash in a sink,
not from your tongue!
Wednesday
Mum went out tonight and when she came in she put her
bag down and sat on the settee. I decided if I pushed
my head in the bag, I could push the contents out. This
worked very well and I played with her handbag until she
saw me and took it away - spoilsport! It was a good game
as well!

Thursday
I
love my mum!
My bed is a big duvet folded up so it is quite thick.
Mum bought some material at the weekend which she let
me play with. It's furry with big cats on (leopard print
with leopard heads dotted in the pattern). Well today
she got out the sewing machine and a zip and a lot of
wadding, and, an hour or so later, I have a new bed. It's
a big cushion shape, quite deep because of the filling
and really, really comfy. I spent the whole afternoon
asleep on my new bed… it's nice and warm and cuddly. I
love kneading it with my paws and sucking the material…
I think I look cute when I do it, as both mum and dad
keep saying "ahhhh!".
