Fortnight 226
Well, as usual I'm late with the diary entry. I can't get the hang of this time management thingie, I just don’t know how Jack managed it so well. I'm short of time today, so it’ll be a quick entry as I am too busy enjoying the springtime sun!
The snow has all gone now and the sun is coming through on most days, it's still quite cold, but at least it’s sunny!
One day I spent the afternoon in the garden and when I came inside the lounge looked really odd. All the pictures on the walls had disappeared and the rest of the ornaments had gone. Apart from the furniture and the snake tank (and my toys, of course!) the room is empty. This really freaked me out and I spent all evening sniffing the hooks that the pictures used to be on to try and work out what had happened. I have got absolutely no clue where they are at all.
Last week was lovely, sunny every day and getting slightly warmer each day as well. Ozzy and I spent loads of time in the garden and smelling all the winter smells on the wall and garden. I know we go out usually every day, but to take time and smell everything is something we haven't done for a while… it's nice to check out the territory from time to time.
I think it was mums birthday this week as she spent a while on Wednesday opening presents and loads of cards appeared on the hearth place. The day after even more cards appeared and both dad and mum opened cards and presents. They spent a while wishing each other “Happy Anniversary”, whatever that is. Must be a human thing. I know we get presents on our birthdays, but never heard the anniversary term before.
In other news, Ozzy has finally stopped trying to mount me, for which I am truly eternally grateful! That really is not a pleasant experience, especially when I was trying to eat my dinner!
Mum is sat on the computer this afternoon with the window open (told you it was getting warmer weather) and Ozzy and I are sat on the garage roof, I am obviously near the window so I can dictate my diary to mum!
Ahhhhh, the joys of spring are wonderful!
