Fortnight 223
Sunday
It’s still really cold and icy outside so we are not going out much at all. We are spending our time running around the house chasing each other and playing with the track ball. I play with the ball and Ozzy lies on the catnip filled bit at the bottom. He’s too stupid to play with the ball as he can't work out that you have to put your paw through the holes in the plastic. He tries to bite the ball through the plastic tube thing – daft boy!
Monday
Mum had an accident today whilst doing the housework. She went off somewhere this afternoon and came back with her arm in a sling and moaning about being in pain and dislocating her shoulder, whatever that means. I know what it means for me, less cuddles as she can only use one hand!
Tuesday
Hooray!!! It’s raining today and all the snow has gone, it’s just a bit slippy in the odd place now, so not nearly as bad as it has been. To celebrate Ozzy and I went outside for a while in the rain and played in the garden together.
Thursday
It’s so nice now the snow has gone from outside. It’s rained all week so far since Tuesday. I don’t like getting my fur too wet so I am staying inside a lot, I only really go outside to go to the loo!
Friday
Mum and dad had a guest stay over this weekend. She is a wonderful person as she gives me loads of cuddles – you can't complain at that!
Saturday
Our guest is still here and I am making the most of lots of two handed cuddles!
Tuesday
A number of people have been coming around the house over the last week and looking in every room and writing things down. Mum keeps saying about what is going and what is staying. I wonder what is going on.
Wednesday
I’ve been trying to get mum to do my diary for me as it needs to get posted this weekend, but with only 1 hand, typing is SOOOOOOO slow, she usually uses all her fingers and thumbs, and now she is using 1 finger… it’s taking ages to do even 1 day. I'm not impressed, I think I’ll have to get some new staff to feed me and type my diary!
Friday
Our guest came back tonight and I once again made the most of lots of 2 handed cuddles as mum still has a sling on her arm and is still moaning about being in lots of pain! I know the diary is going to be late this time as she just won't type fast enough to get it finished in time!
Sunday
Our guest left today, so I am back to 1 handed cuddles. Ozzy and I spent this evening chasing each other up and down the stairs. We have such fun playing with each other.
Monday
Sid disappeared today, the tank was empty. I spent ages staring in, but I couldn’t see her. She came back late afternoon and the incubator was turned off, I guess they are no longer expecting snake eggs from her!
Tuesday
OK, now I'm really confused. Mum spent a while packing ornaments up from the lounge. They are always here, why are they being packed up. I'm not sure I like this move… I wonder what is going on.
Wednesday
Finally! Dad has gone out and I've persuaded mum to get on the computer and type up my diary. Gosh, she is so slow it's tedious, but I have to do these things. Sorry it’s late – blame my human staff.
