Monday
August Bank Holiday
It is really warm day today, but not sunny. I have spent ages on the patio cloudbathing! Ozzy has been sat on the ledge behind the garden wall. The squirrel appeared in the garden and although Ozzy sat up, after it hit him on the nose last summer, he won't go near them. So, he was watching from behind the safety of the wall, and I got all big and hard and chased it across the garden and up the fence. I arrived at the top of the fence puffing, and the dratted squirrel was already on top of the fence 2 gardens away. I need to get more exercise I think!!!
Wednesday
Mum and dad went out for most of today and left Ozzy and I in our room. We were OK though, as our beds, food, drink and toilet are all in there so we are well catered for! It was raining really heavily here most of the day, so we were glad to be inside in the dry. When they came home late afternoon we both got lots of cuddles as we were good, so that was pretty cool!
Thursday
It’s really, really windy here today. I went outside for a few minutes this morning, but I thought my paws were going to be blown away from under my body so I ran full pelt to the door and screamed at mum to let me back in the house. I didn't venture outside again for the rest of the day… far too scary! Even Ozzy didn't want to be outside for too long today and he’s massive – highly unlikely to get blown away! I joined dad for a sleep this afternoon as mum was being boring and on the computer.
Friday
Nick came tonight and they all went out for the evening… when they came back we had a bit of an evening playtime, which we enjoyed. It was nice to run around the house and go mad for a while. Nick stayed overnight so we got more cuddles than normal – which of course I appreciated!
Sunday
It’s been a quite weekend with dad sleeping lots as he isn't well and mum going on the computer a lot… I wish she’d spend the time cuddling me instead of typing!
Monday
I think summer is over and winter is on it’s way. The nights are getting darker earlier, tonight I was really brave. It was dark, cold and rainy and I went outside for a few hours. When I came back in, I made sure I got loads of cuddles for being a big brave boy!
Tuesday
I went outside again this evening, I'm getting really brave now. It wasn’t raining tonight, which made it much better, I could stay out for longer as I really hate getting wet!
Wednesday
Mum and dad were up a lot during last night so we are all tired today. I have spent the entire day sleeping, a kitten has to get lots of beauty sleep you know!
Thursday
It's really odd in the house at the minute. Dad left early yesterday morning and he hasn’t come home yet. Both Ozzy and I were going around the house looking for him both last night and tonight. mum spent last night on the computer, but at least tonight she watched TV, so we got cuddles. Mum made some white fish for tea, and there was some left over. She broke it into small pieces and gave it us with our food at bedtime. We have never had fresh fish like this before, it was absolutely lovely! I hope we get it again one day! We both ate it so quick it was gone in seconds!
Friday
Well, I didn't manage to get mum to get the camera out, but at least I managed to do the diary on time this month. Makes a change huh???!!!! I’ll try to keep up my newfound interest in time management that allows me to keep the diary up to date and not ruin all Jack’s hard work in the past!
