Fortnight 208
Well, firstly, sorry it’s been so long since the last diary. We stayed at the vets for 2 weeks and when we came home it appeared that mum had had an operation and wasn’t able to look after us properly, that’s why we stayed away. When we came back she wasn’t up to typing for me, so I haven't been able to do a diary for ages.
Sunday
Easter Sunday
It was a lovely day today and we spent it playing in the garden. I spent ages outside, I'm really getting brave now. I went out after tea and came inside with Ozzy when mum shouted us at bedtime. I can't believe I used to be scared to go outside in the dark!
Tuesday
Something odd is happening today. we came out of our room this morning and instead of being allowed outside like usual, we were locked in the house until mum came downstairs. When she came down, she got out the cat carriers and we were taken to the vets where we were put into a pen together. We stayed here for 2 weeks.
Tuesday 28 th April
Someone from the vets brought us home today. It was wonderful to come out of the carrier into our front room. All our toys were there and all the familiar smells. We ran around to check nothing major had changed and then we settled back in to household life. It’s so good to be hone and not at the vets. We spent tonight running around the house chasing each other, it’s good to have room to run after being in a pen for 2 weeks.
Thursday
We are still enjoying being home. I am loving going into the garden and getting some sun and warmth on my fur. Mum isn't too well after her operation and she is going to bed a lot, we are joining her as we have missed her and don’t want to be too far away at any time!
Sunday
The weather is lovely at the minute and both Ozzy and I are spending loads of time outside. The French doors are open a lot and we can run in out as we please. This is totally excellent!
Wednesday
We have spent the last few days playing in the garden and in the house. In the day we play in the garden and in the evening we chase each other around the house playing. I am going outside a lot in the evenings, which is a relatively new thing for me, and I am loving it. I spend ages outside, I can't believe last year I was afraid of the dark!
Sunday
The week was fairly quiet. Mum is still recovering, it’s going to take her a while to get over what was apparently a major op. we have been looking after her and making sure she gets lots of cuddles.
Monday
May Bank Holiday
It was a quiet day today – mum and dad watched motor racing on the TV all day and we played in the garden.
Tonight Ozzy found a cat Easter Egg in our room and spent ages trying to open the cardboard wrapping. Mum was laughing at him, and then got the box and opened it for us. After all his fussing Ozzy didn't eat any of it, but I scoffed all the bits that mum got out for us, it was lovely! What a treat!
Thursday
I have spent the week playing in the nice weather. It’s an easy life for us cats you know!
