Fortnight 206
Saturday
It was a quiet day in the house today. Dad spent the afternoon in bed, and mum was on the PC. I spent some time on the bed with dad.
Monday
A new lady came to the house to see mum and dad this morning. She smelt new, and I spent a while trying to get in her bag, to see if she had brought me anything – she hadn’t!
This afternoon mum went into the garden and painted all the log roll around the garden area. I followed her around offering her my assistance, but she kept telling me off for stepping in the wet wood stain, it’s a good job it was clear or I would have left coloured paw prints over all the new paving stones!
Wednesday
Mum was in the kitchen this morning and she must have hurt herself as she screamed really loudly, so loud in fact that I ran away as I thought I had done something wrong. She was holding her hand in an unusual way and it was all red and burnt, so I guess that was why she screamed. I gave her lots of cuddles to try and make her feel better.
Friday
I spent the day in bed with mum who wasn’t feeling too well. This evening I stayed in my bunny bed next to mum giving her cuddles as she is still unhappy that her hand is so sore.
Saturday
Mum and dad went out for a while early this evening and then came home later on. They watched TV whilst Ozzy and I played around the upstairs of the house. We were running around for ages playing and making such a loud noise, I think they thought we had boots on as we were making so much noise!
Monday
The lady from last week came again today, I ignored her though as I know she hadn’t brought me anything.
Wednesday
Mum was in the kitchen again this morning and she screamed just like last week, I was watching today though and I saw the kettle open as she poured it and instead of pouring water into the cup – it poured all over her already burnt hand. She wasn’t very happy with life!!! I gave her lots of cuddles to make her feel better, I don’t think they made her better, but I did make her smile with my kitty kisses!
Thursday
Mum was out a while this morning and came back with a new kettle for the kitchen, I think she needed one!! The rest of the day was really quiet. It’s very windy and rainy so Ozzy and I stayed inside and both tried to make mum happier.
Friday
Nick and his girlfriend came tonight to see mum and dad, and they stayed the night. I got lots of cuddles off them all tonight as we had a play as well. I like it when visitors come and give me lots of attention.
