Fortnight 205
Saturday
Still no tablets today – this is an excellent new development, and I still feel OK.
Monday
It was snowing for a while today and Ozzy and I stayed inside in the warmth!
Tuesday
It was mum’s birthday today and there was loads of wrapping paper on the floor which I played with for ages. For the rest of the day, I spent playing in the house with various toys.
Wednesday
It was mum and dads wedding anniversary today and there were loads of cards and wrapping paper on the floor again. Mum got dad 2 floating balloons with that helium stuff in. I spent the day playing with the balloons and dragging them all over the house. They are great fun to play with, even if they are not really for me!
Thursday
Ozzy and I got a shock today. Mum put our cat carriers in the middle of the lounge. Ozzy got inside one for a smell, and mum shut the door on him, trapping him inside. I was soon put in the other one and we were put in the car and taken to the vets. In the vets, we were put into a pen together. Mum gave us both a cuddle and left.
Saturday
Mum came back to the vets today to pick us both up. We were sat in the back of the pen, and not very happy with life as there was a really noisy dog in the vets with us and we didn't like it. We were really happy to be back home. I soon picked up where I left off, and spent the day playing with the floating balloons. I pulled one up the stairs and then let go of it by accident. It floated really high and I couldn’t reach it, even if I jumped really high. I started to howl loudly to get mum or dad to come and pull the balloon down so I could reach it again. They soon came to see what I was howling about, and they pulled the balloon down so I could reach it.
Monday
Mum filled up the balloons again as they were starting to go down a bit and not float so well. Once again, I spent the day playing with the balloons. I went outside for a bit, as the weather was quite nice and not too cold. I definitely think that spring is coming.
Wednesday
Ozzy got a brush today as his coat is full of dead hair. He sat there purring away as mum brushed him for ages to get his coat looking nice and sleek. She then tried to brush me, but I was having none of it, I don’t like the brush at all. Ozzy went outside for a while and shortly after there was loud howling from outside. Mum went out for a look, and there was Ozzy, the ginger cat and the white cat with no tail all fighting on our front garden. Dad said it must be spring and they are all fighting over a lady cat. I stayed well out of the way, I don’t like fighting!
Thursday
I am still not on any tablets, and my health is OK. My nose is clear and I am not full of snot! This is wonderful, I am really happy with it!
I spent a while outside in the garden today. It is really windy and there are leaves blowing over the garden which I just HAVE to chase! I spent nearly half an hour chasing leaves, and I had such fun.
Friday
It is really windy again today and once again I went into the garden to chase leaves. Ozzy sat watching me on the catmint tubs. He is far too serious and old to chase leaves, but I still find it such fun to do. After a while I came back inside for cuddles from mum and dad. I spent tonight sleeping on the windowsill in the warmth of the radiator!
