Fortnight 201
Saturday
It was a quiet day today with just mum and dad in the house. I went outside for a few minutes this afternoon, but it is still arctic cold here so I wasn’t out for long!
Monday
Well, dad went back to work today and the house returned to its normal routine. Back to normality, which us cats appreciate!
Tuesday
So much for a long time with no tablets! Before I got my breakfast this morning the usual pink tablet was given to me. I thought I was going to get longer than a week with no tablets. Ah well, a week is better than nothing I guess!
Wednesday
I went out for a while this morning and sat in the tree at the back of the house with Ozzy. It’s still cold, but a bit warmer than it has been. I spent quite a while outside, which is unusual for me!
Friday
I spent the night playing with my rattling ball. I was chasing it around the lounge and dining room. I tired myself out and had a few hours sleep on the back of the sofa!
Saturday
Mum and dad went out tonight for a few hours. I spent the time asleep on the sofa. When they came back I had a mad play time. I was chasing Ozzy around the house and then running and attacking my toys.
Monday
I spent the morning outside today. I sat on the garden wall for a while and then I went into the tree. It’s nice to spend more time outside, but it’s even better to come back inside and get warm again!
Mum went out this afternoon and came back smelling unusual. I licked her arm and it tasted lovely. I believe that the smell is chlorine from going swimming, but I'm not sure! I like the taste of it anyway!
Wednesday
I’m still on my tablets. It’s become a routine now, tablet and then breakfast and tablet before we get our tea as well. I know when the tablet bottle comes out, that I will get fed straight after!
Thursday
Mum went out this morning and came back smelling of the vets, I think she went to get me more tablets. I am still quite snotty, so I guess that I need them! I am getting better, but not right yet.
Both Ozzy and I spent a while watching Sid in her tank this evening. She shed her skin and when she does that she makes an odd noise that makes us want to look in the tank and watch her. It kept us occupied for a while, but then mum squirted us with the water pistol to stop us watching Sid and making her nervous. It’s not fair – you can't have any fun here!
Friday
Mum had the French window open for a while this morning and it was lovely to run in and out of the garden. Roll on spring, when the door is open all the time. I really enjoyed playing in the garden today as it wasn’t as cold as it has been lately. I could spend longer outside as I wasn’t freezing my paws off!
