Saturday
I
played with Nick today, my playmate. We were playing with
a Diet Coke box, I was sat inside and Nick was pushing
me around the floor. We had such fun… I was miaowing with
delight. When he went home I fell asleep on the cat centre
and spent the entire night dreaming of mice and toys!
Monday
All
the snow has melted now and getting out is much easier.
I went out last night and played with Molly. I found out
that Molly is fleabag's real name, a cute name for a cute
lady kitten! This afternoon I took my squidgy ball into
the garden and I was playing on my own for about an hour.
I can keep myself occupied for ages with it. I was throwing
it into the air and catching it, I was pretending it was
a mouse and practising for the hunts I will have in the
spring.
Wednesday
I have spent the last day asleep inside feeling poorly…
I was bitten by a big dog on Monday night and mum took
me to the vets. Until the anti-biotics work I am staying
inside as my back leg is really sore. When I see that
dog again I am going to give him a hard time. How dare
he hurt me so badly when I have not done anything to him.
Mum is giving me loads of cuddles to make me feel beter,
which is really cool and seems to be working.
Saturday
My leg is much better now and I can walk fully so I went
outside for the first time today. I tested the leg by
climbing the tree in the back garden. I got all the way
up to the top… the view is well cool, you can see into
everyones garden. There was nobody outside though as it
is still quite cold outside. Molly was stood watching
me climb, I had to get to the top to show her how clever
I was. I think that she was really impressed. She is not
big enough yet to climb trees so I told her what I could
see.
Tuesday
Ban has started to come inside and sleep more in an evening.
The average evening has me asleep on the cat centre and
Ban asleep on the big rug in front of the fire. He looks
so friendly when he lies on the rug on his back, with
his feet in the air. If you go near him he starts to howl
though so we all leave him to sleep. He likes playing
with the catnip mouse.. it's a big mouse with a teabag
thing inside which smells lovely. I managed to get the
teabag out before and as I was playing with it, it shredded
on the carpet. It made such a mess so I went to hide before
anybody saw the mess and told me off! It's a good job
mum had another teabag to put inside. I heard her saying
the teabag thing is a catnip sachet… I love catnip. Ban
told me that the plant in the garden that he sits on is
a catnip plant. It smells nice but not as nice as the
teabag! Ban loves the plant and always goes to sit on
it and he eats the leaves, I'm sure he is going mad!
Thursday
I spent the whole day outside today playing. It was a
good day. My leg was a bit sore when I got in so I sat
on the windowsill over the radiator where it is nice and
warm and fell asleep. When I woke up it felt much better.
I spent an hour or so playing fetch with mum. She was
so nice to me and went she went to town she bought another
pack of squidgy balls so now I have loads to play with.
After playing fetch up and down the stairs I was shattered
and spent the night asleep in the back room. I couldn't
go out and play all night as well, I'm only little and
I get tired quick!
