Saturday
Well
it is pretty good here at the minute. Dad is happy as
he has finished work for 2 weeks and mum and dad put up
this large tree and put purple decorations on it with
silver tinsel, and tinsel all over the front room. They
are also telling people happy Christmas, so it must be
a Christmas tree. I have started to hide underneath it
and it is a perfect place to hide.
Tuesday
Christmas
Day
Mum and dad came downstairs this morning and let me and
Ban in and we had Scottish salmon cat food as a Christmas
treat. Fleabag also came in and she had a bit of my food.
Mum and dad opened their presents and I spent about an
hour playing in the wrapping paper hill. The string was
my favourite and I was pulling it off the paper and then
fell backwards when the sellotape came off… I had such
fun!
Mum
and dad went out about 3pm to a restaurant for their dinner
and I went to Fleabags and shared some of her food. Her
house is really noisy as there are 3 children under 5
there…. But it was only polite to have some of her dinner
as she had a large chunk of mine… for a little kitten
she can eat a LARGE amount! I spent the night sleeping
on the floor in the front room snuggled up to Ban as it
is cold!
Wednesday
Mum
and dad were out again all day today and I was playing
with Fleabag all day. We spent ages playing "tig" in the
garden. Chasing each other and play fighting. She tried
to pounce on me but I jumped on the table in the back
garden and managed to bop her one on the head, which she
was not expecting. It was so funny.
Saturday
It
snowed today and it was such fun. I remember the snow
from last year but fleabag has never seen it before. We
were running in the garden, well sort of dancing as our
paws were cold so we had to keep moving. I love playing
in the snow and ran all round the front garden making
patterns. It looks excellent.
Monday
New
Years Eve
The
snow is still here and Ban and I have been playing together
in the garden. Fleabag is at home today as it is too cold
for her. There were loads of people walking up the street
to the pub this evening but when we went home mum and
dad were still in so I slept on the windowsill were it
is nice and warm. At midnight they went into the garden
after making sure Ban and I were inside and let off some
fireworks. I watched some and they were really nice but
the last one went wrong, it didn't go high enough and
when it went "Bang" a load of house alarms went off in
the street. Mum and dad were laughing but it was so noisy!
Tuesday
New
Years Day
Mum
and dad went out to the shops this afternoon and Ban and
I were at the field at the top of the street, playing
in the snow. It was hard to walk up there as the road
and pavement are both really slippy as the ice has not
melted and there is snow on top. We saw dad's car pull
into the street and he skidded the car turned round to
face the way it had just come, after bouncing off a lamp
post. I was so worried that they had been hurt, but they
both got out of the car shouting at each other! We all
went home to the warm, and they soon calmed down after
I kissed them both. I decided to try make them laugh by
climbing up the Christmas tree, however it's not as strong
as it looked and I fell off rather quickly.. at least
it got them to laugh!
Thursday
I have been so tired lately… It's hard staying out all
night when walking is so difficult. It is still really
icy and I sleep in the front garden. I have been playing
with my squidgy ball for a while but I was so tired that
I slept for 10 hours under the radiator, only moving to
eat my tea… It's a hard life being a kitten! When it was
bedtime dad tried to get me to go out but I wasn't having
any of it…. He picked me up off the cat bed and put me
on the carpet, but I didn't even try to stand up, just
went back to sleep… he carried me to the back room, where
I sleep and then they went to bed… now I know how to make
them leave me in the house overnight….. about 2am fleabag
came to the window… she had been waiting for me to go
out, she was asleep on our doormat, she came looking for
me, jealous that I was in the warm… when mum and dad came
down in the morning she ran straight in for a cuddle…
we are soulmates!!!!
