Fortnight 188
Saturday
Tigger seems to have healed fully from his operation on Wednesday. He healed quicker than Ozzy. Nick and his girlfriend came today and his girlfriend had a quick play with Tigger. She is scared of cats, but she played with us and even stroked Tigger before she went home.
Tigger ate all his tea tonight and then went and ate half of Ozzys’ tea, then he got into his bed and slept all night… greedy kitten!
Sunday
Mum and dad didn't feel well today so it was a quiet day in the house. We all spent the afternoon sleeping in various places in the house.
Monday
Dad was out today and mum did the cleaning and hoovering. We all kept out of the way of the hoover as we don’t like the noise.
Last night Ozzy spent ages getting the Webox treats off the unit where all the food is kept. He spent most of the night trying to get the treats out of the packet. This evening mum realised that the treats packet was badly nibbled and she shared out all the open treats between us. Tigger didn’t eat his, but Ozzy and I ate our 3 treats eagerly!
Tuesday
Today is my birthday – I am 8 years old today. To celebrate I got my favourite food for tea. I ate it so fast so that Tigger wouldn’t get his nose in and have a nibble of my favourite tea. To thank mum for my dinner I ran up to her, headbutted a thank you and then gave her a fishy kiss on the nose. I think she appreciated my gesture!
Wednesday
Tonight Ozzy and Tigger were playing with the panic mouse and I sat on the sofa watching them both.
The ginger cat was back tonight and hassling both Ozzy and I. Mum went outside and shouted at it and soaked it with a water pistol, it ran off in a huff, I don’t think it was very pleased!
Friday
I spent the evening on the sofa and Ozzy and Tigger spent the night playing with each other and running around the house. When did they get to be so fast, was I ever that quick? They make me dizzy just watching them!
Sunday
Today was a day of motor racing. Mum and dad watched the Formula 1, where they were again screaming at the TV… I so hate motor racing!! Then they watched bike racing in the afternoon and then bike racing again in the evening and were again screaming at the TV.. how is a cat supposed to get their much needed sleep when people are screaming at the TV – so inconsiderate!
Monday
A cold and rainy day today. I spent the day asleep in the spare bed, as I am getting old now, I need lots more undisturbed sleep! I did get a shock when the hoover started by the bed, but I soon realised I was safe inside, so I just ignored it.
Tuesday
Ozzy and Tigger spent the night playing together again. They were both playing with the panic mouse and then the laser pen. They make me tired just watching them both!
Wednesday
I spent last night outside as it was a nice calm night, I am shattered today and I spent it asleep in the spare bed – my favourite sleeping place for the daytime. Tigger and I got caught out by mum today. We were happily eating our breakfast and we both got caught and got worming tablets pushed down our throats. I hate worming tablets… I wish I had have seen her coming as I would have run a mile… not good! Well at least it’s over for another few months!
Thursday
Another nice day today and I spent the day between the house and the garden. Tigger is getting better, he isn't sneezing as much and his nose is not running as much. He is finally getting better.
Friday
Ozzy ate the last of the treats last night, that cat is sooooooo greedy it’s unreal. It’s a wonder he doesn’t pop! I would never dream of stealing treats overnight, I would always wait for mum to give us some.. but Ozzy doesn’t think like that. I hope she doesn’t get upset with us. I think she knows it is Ozzy and not me though.
