Fortnight 183
Saturday
We both watched as Tigger went outside for the first time. He was in the back garden and within 15 minutes of being outside he got stung by a bee on his front paw. It was really funny watching mum bath it with salt water in the kitchen sink. I have never seen a cat sit in our kitchen sink before!
Monday
Mum spent the afternoon in the garden again. Tigger spent the afternoon in the office as the noise of the mower frightened him. Ozzy and I spent the afternoon in the cricket pitch.
Tuesday
Last night Ozzy spent his first night outside. I had our room all to myself and it was wonderful and peaceful. It was another lovely day today and the 3 of us spent our time between the house and the garden.
Wednesday
Last night both Ozzy and I were outside. Tigger was the only one in the house, we could hear him crying from outside!
Thursday
Mum took Tigger to the vets this morning to get more tablets for his snuffles. He still shoots snot across the room when he sneezes, it’s quite funny really!
There was a builder in the house a lot of today putting a new door on the bathroom. Ozzy and I spent the day outside as the noise was quite frightening. Tigger isn't really used to going outside yet, so he hid in the back bedroom under all the stuff on the back bed. It took ages to find him when the builder had gone!
Mum spent late afternoon in bed as she didn't feel well. Ozzy and Tigger joined her on the bed and I spent the afternoon in the spare bed as I get peace there and I am not disturbed. When she got up she noticed that Tigger had a big bald spot on his neck that was bleeding. She rang the vets and ended up taking him back again. He has either a skin infection or an allergic reaction to something in the garden. She spent all night trying to stop him from scratching his neck.
Friday
Once again much of the day was spent trying to stop Tigger from scratching the bald spot on his neck. It looks sore and angry.
Tigger and Ozzy spent most of the day chasing each other around the house like true madcats! It’s funny to watch as Ozzy is over twice the size of Tigger. Ozzy bites Tiggers’ feet and then runs off, and then Tigger tries to catch him and bite his feet back, but he can't fit Ozzys’ feet in his mouth, very amusing. I sat on the sofa watching the fun and games.
Saturday
Mum and dad went out tonight and we were locked in our rooms. When they got back later on, they let us out. Ozzy and I are used to this and went straight outside to go to the toilet. Tigger isn't used to it, and when they opened the door and turned on the light, they woke him up! It took him a while to realise it was playtime and he could come out of the kitchen!
Sunday
Ozzy and I spent the day in the garden as it was really nice weather. Tigger sat on mums shoulder and watched the F1 with mum and dad. I still can't stand the noise of the cars, so always make myself scarce when it is on.
Monday
It was really nice again today, summer must be here already. I spent the day on the cricket pitch and the other two spent most of their time in the back garden. Mum spent the afternoon cutting the hedge in the front garden. We kept out of her way as she was using a big bladed thing that could easily hurt a little cat!
Tuesday
Mum was out this afternoon and we spent the day asleep in the house as it was too hot to go outside today. Especially for me as a black cat in hot weather!
Wednesday
The dog lady came again today and mum and she went out for the afternoon. Ozzy and I were outside and Tigger spent it on the sofa in the cool. He is on loads of tablets at the minute because of the patch on his neck. He is on 5 tablets a day and you can hear him crying when mum tries to give him them. It is quite sad really. Such a sick little cat.
Thursday
The house smells of paint today as mum had painted the new bathroom door. She is very brave as cats just love wet paint. She had made sure that we all stay well away from the door so we don’t get white glass paint on our coats.
Friday
Mum and dad were out all day, they were in their posh clothes and went to a wedding. We all had the house to ourselves today. Nice and quite, chance for a good sleep!
