Fortnight 180Confessions of a Mad CatFornight 182

Fortnight 181

Saturday

I spent the afternoon sunbathing on the patio, it was lovely and warm and it was a nice change to feel the sun on my fur. Sid has been out of his cave a lot lately as he is getting bigger and more confident and Ozzy and I have been spending a lot of time watching him.

Monday

It was cleaning day again and I was sleeping inside the spare bed when the hoover started right next to the opening. I got such a fright. I shot out of the cupboard like lightening and ran downstairs!

Tuesday

Ozzy went outside for ages tonight and when he came back in he had dirt and mud all over his nose. We were all laughing at him, I wonder what he had been doing.

Where is that dirt from, and what has he been doing?

Thursday

We have been fighting a lot recently and tonight was no exception, Ozzy and I had a massive fight in the lounge.

Tonight, there is going to be a fight and this is the preliminary stand off!  FIGHT !!!!!

Friday

Mum and dad were watching the boxing tonight and I found the old mouse with a catnip bag in it. I was happily playing on the floor whilst Ozzy was asleep on the sofa. He woke up and saw me playing and he started to watch me for a while. Then he walked to the edge of the sofa and whilst I was lying on the floor playing with the mouse he jumped down and landed by my face. I jumped up onto my feet really quickly and started to growl at him as I wanted to play alone. We sat there staring at each other with the mouse in between us for a few minutes. It was obvious that he wanted to play with the mouse, but every time he put his head down to smell it, I growled at him and he sat back upright again. I stalked off and watched him from the bottom of the stairs. The minute he gave in to his temptation and started to play with the mouse, I pounced on him and we had a massive fight. We were shouting at each other and rolling around on the floor in a fight hold. I won though, and he went upstairs and stopped sniffing and playing with the mouse, leaving me to play in peace.

Playtime Who wins the mouse playtime?? The fight will decide!

Sunday

Mum was up really early this morning and we were both let out of our room. We were taken by surprise when she came downstairs and we were both still asleep! I spent the morning sunbathing in the office window and Ozzy spent it asleep in our room.

Tuesday

I spent a while sunbathing on the patio again today. Spring is definitely here, Ozzy is spending loads of time outside exploring and looking for lady cats! I have spent quite a lot of time inside playing with the white mouse. I forgot how good it is to play and how much I had missed it.

Thursday

I have been really restless today and have spent ages pacing around the house and not settling. I’m not sure why, I just can’t settle down today. Maybe it’s the nice weather making me unsettled.

I spent ages tonight playing with the mouse again. It smells of Ozzy though, I think he has been playing with it whilst I have been elsewhere. I am not too happy about that.

Friday

We have some new biscuits for our breakfast and dinner today and they are really nice. We usually get Purina one, but lately mum ran out and we have been eating Go Cat, which have made a nice change but we got bored of them really quickly. We have now been treated to Purina One Natural Balance, which is chicken and oats and are really nice. We leave clean bowls in minutes, which pleases mum. I hope she buys some more of these. Also when we get fed I get my biscuits first and then mum feeds Ozzy. This morning he couldn’t wait and jumped on the basket, whilst I was getting my biscuits Ozzy had his fat head in the packet and we all heard the munching as he tucked into the biscuits in the big bag. What a greedy kitten he is, he only had to wait a minute or so for them to be put in his bowl. He got told off by mum though, so I don’t think he will do it again – but who knows with that greedy lump!
