Fortnight 180
Saturday
Nick came today with his little brother. We both went and said hello and then left them to playing on the playstation. We are not used to young children and were both a bit nervous. The man that was feeding us when mum was away is still coming into the house every day. We have both got used to him now and always go greet him and get lots of cuddles, even though he smells of dog he still is a cat person!
Monday
Easter Monday
Mum and dad had some treats tonight called “French Fancies”. The empty wrappers were on top of the box and they smelt gorgeous. While they were watching TV I sneaked up and was biting the icing off the papers.. wow it was good. They saw me a few moments later and moved them to stop me eating the icing – spoil sports!
Tuesday
Dad was off today and we all spent the day in the lounge watching TV. There were loads of children playing out in the street and I sat on the windowsill watching them.
This evening Ozzy and I had a big fight in the lounge. We were fighting on and off all night. He wants to be the dominant cat and I don’t want to give up that title and its privileges.
Wednesday
Mum was out most of today and dad went out a bit later with the man that had been feeding us. When they came back, they both smelt of dog and were covered in dog hairs. I am used to smelling dog on them, but Ozzy isn’t. He spent ages sniffing their clothes and then ran away!
Friday
Tonight some of mum and dads friends came around. They all smelt of different cats, and they were really nice. We both got lots and lots of cuddles, so we were really happy.
Sunday
Dad spent this afternoon in bed and mum was playing on the playstation. I spent the afternoon on the bed with dad. I love getting cuddles on the bed, and also snuggling up to a sleeping person as you can share their warmth and get nice and warm yourself!
Monday
It was a really nice warm day today. I spent loads of time sunbathing on the patio. The clocks went forward at the weekend, so spring must be here. It also means that we get fed what feels like an hour early as our stomachs haven’t adjusted to the new times yet! Very odd!
Wednesday
The dog lady came over again to visit mum and they came back with loads of interesting smelling bags. We both investigated the new bags and then went back upstairs to get some more sleep… cats need lots of sleep you know!
Tonight when Ozzy was outside I spent a while playing with dad and the cat charmer. When I went outside, Ozzy came in and he was playing with the cat charmer.
Thursday
Mum went out this morning and came home with lots of wood in a roll that she was putting in the back garden. I, of course, decided to help her but I soon got bored of watching her carry it into the garden and stack it. I came back inside and went into the cupboard in the spare bed, which I have made my second and most favourite bed and hiding place.
