Fortnight 175
Saturday
I wish I didn't have shaved bits on my paw and neck as I am really cold when I go outside. I hope that it grows back soon!
Monday
Ozzy is still eating food from his own bowl, which is wonderful and I am starting to put on a small amount of weight now that I am not sharing all my food. I'm glad that mum has started to feed us on the same food.
Tuesday
Mum was out all afternoon today and Ozzy and I spent the afternoon asleep on her bed. It is nice and warm and comfy there. It has been raining really heavily all day and I hate going out in the rain.
Wednesday
There were lots of presents in the front room this afternoon and mum was wrapping them. It must be someone’s birthday. I lay in the radiator bed watching, but Ozzy did try to help mum with the wrapping, but ended up ripping the paper. I don’t think she was very happy with him!
Friday
Mum was up early today and let us out of our rooms. We were not expecting it and were still asleep. She was out all day and came home late afternoon and went to bed. Both Ozzy and I joined her on the bed for a short but comfy snooze!
Saturday
There were visitors in the house today and Nick opened all his birthday presents. Both Ozzy and I helped him with the presents and then I went to sleep inside the box that they were all kept in.
Tonight mum and dad stayed up until the early hours of the morning watching TV and listening to music. Both Ozzy and I were shattered when they eventually went to bed!
Ozzy and I had a massive fight this evening. We have been getting on really well lately and playing a bit, but he pushed me too far tonight. I lost my temper with him and white fur was flying in the lounge. After a few whacks of my paw and a few mouthfuls of fur (but no skin!) I decided that he had learnt his lesson and went back to sleep!
Sunday
They spent the day watching motor racing on the TV. I went into my hiding place in the spare bed and Ozzy fell asleep on the back of the sofa in the lounge.
Ozzy has been hassling Sid a lot lately and constantly is watching the snake tank. In an attempt to distract his attention mum got out the long tube that we use as a toy. It is a long furry tube with holes in the top and toys inside. We both love playing and sleeping in it.
Monday
Today it is raining so heavily outside we both stayed inside and slept all day.
Tuesday
The rain has finally stopped and today it is dry but really cold. There is loads of water in the street and everywhere is soaked. Our garden is really squelchy. Last night I caught a mouse and left it by the front door for mum. I did really well catching it as it was really fast. I couldn’t resist nibbling off the head though, there is nothing better than finding a headless mouse shortly after you have woken up,
it provides a nice easy breakfast with no preparation!

Wednesday
A quiet day in the house today. Nothing much happened and we all had a lazy day.
Friday
This morning Ozzy and I had a massive fight at the bottom of the stairs. There was white fur flying everywhere and embedded in the carpet. I won the fight and he sulked off! But before I got to enjoy my victory mum came at me with this little tube of stuff and put it on the back of my neck. It is cold and gooey and makes my fur all spiky. I think it is the new wormer stuff, I don’t like it. I wasn’t very happy about it, but then she got Ozzy as well so I didn't feel so hard done to!
Mum and dad had guests tonight, but they must be OK as they smell of cats. We had lots of cuddles and then left them to talk human stuff without our presence.
On another note, I haven't been back to the vets, so I wonder if I have got away with it and won't have to go again.
