Fortnight 170
Saturday
Today was the last day I got to see Ozzy struggling with mum to take his tablet. He must be better now as he isn't being sick any more, thankfully.
Tonight was really noisy and there were loads of bangs going off outside. Both Ozzy and I spent the night in the lounge trying to sleep through the noise.
Sunday
Another night of bangs outside, once again we stayed inside all day and night to keep out of the way!
Monday
Bonfire Night
Tonight mum and dad watched the bonfire and fireworks display at the cricket pitch behind the house. Now I understand why there has been so many bangs outside over the past few nights. At least after tonight it is all over, and it will return to being nice and quiet!
Wednesday
How I laughed today! Early this morning mum came into our rooms and removed both of our water bowls. Shortly after, Ozzy was put in a cat carrier and taken off to the vets. He didn't come home until later this afternoon. It was lovely to have the house to myself again. I spent a while on mums knee, and the rest of the time sleeping on the sofa. I was not impressed when Ozzy came home this afternoon, I thought he had gone for good.. but I did laugh when I realised why he had been at the vets for so long. He had been castrated!!! I’ve been through it as well, but it’s so long ago I have forgotten about the pain element, and I just laughed at Ozzy. This evening he was back to his usual tricks of playing and jumping on me.. you wouldn’t know that he had been given a general anaesthetic this morning!
Friday
Both Ozzy and I spent the day asleep on the sofa. We were lying on opposite ends of the same sofa snoozing away the day.
Mum and dad went out tonight and when they got back, they stayed up until 3am! Both Ozzy and I were shattered and yawning away. We are not used to such late nights!
Saturday
We were all tired today and the whole house had a quiet day.
Monday
The weather is so cold here today. It is -1C, far too cold for little black cats, and annoying kittens to be outside. I spent the day asleep on the spare bed, and Ozzy spent the day asleep on the sofa downstairs.
Tuesday
I was asleep on the sofa tonight and Ozzy came up and sniffed my head. Usually I grumble and growl, but I stayed still and quiet this time. He had a quick lick of my ear and then left me alone and went to sleep on the other sofa. I think he is finally learning to leave me alone!
Wednesday
Once again Ozzy tried to come and sniff me when I was asleep. He gave me a few licks and then left me alone. I still grumble and growl at him, but I think we are getting better.
Thursday
Last night after I said that I think Ozzy and I are getting better, we had a big fight. There were screeches and growls and a few bats of the paw from me and it was all over. Why is he so annoying???
