Fortnight 169
Saturday
Tonight, dad and I decided to play a joke on mum. Dad took off my collar when mum wasn’t looking and he hid it on top of the fan blades attached to the light fitting in the main bedroom. I had been out for a while and when I came inside mum noticed that I was not wearing it. I don’t think that she had a spare one as a new one wasn’t put on me.
Monday
Mum found my collar today and I think she was a bit confused as to how it got there. She found it in the main bedroom on the fan blade which is attached to the light fitting. She spent ages trying to work out how I managed to leave my collar on such a high place.
Tuesday
It was so cold today and I spent the day asleep on the bed.
This evening Ozzy was very restless and he played with a new toy that mum bought which is a long cuddly pink and blue snake toy. I suppose it stops us playing with Sid!
Wednesday
Dad was out all day today and mum spent the day on the PC. Ozzy and I spent the day asleep on the big bed.
Friday
Dad finally told mum about our joke as she was still wondering how my collar got up on the light fitting. I don’t think that mum was too pleased with us! But she saw the funny side eventually!
Sunday
A quiet day in the house today. I was so tired as I spent last night listening to Ozzy being sick in the kitchen. When mum came down she had to spend ages cleaning the floor and the room. I spent the day asleep on the spare bed and Ozzy spent the day asleep in the lounge. I got all my meals today and Ozzy got none… ha!
Monday
We were both on normal food levels today and we were both much happier with life as we weren’t so tired.
Tuesday
This morning Ozzy had been sick again overnight. Mum had to clean the floor again, and once again, I got my food and Ozzy didn't get any!
This afternoon as I dozed on the sofa, Ozzy got put into the cat carrier and taken off to the vets. He had a few injections and some tablets for the rest of the week. He didn't feel too well when he got back and went to sleep on the sofa for the rest of the night.
Wednesday
Halloween
I had a laugh this morning watching mum trying to give Ozzy his first tablet. He has never had to have tablets before and he struggled and wriggled in mums grip as he really didn't want to swallow it. Finally though, mum won and the tablet was swallowed.
This evening there were lots of children in costumes in the street and they all came to our house for sweets. They all looked quite scary and we hid inside where we were safe!
Thursday
Mum spent this morning painting in the main bedroom. The house stinks of paint and our cat noses are picking it up so strong!! I hate the smell of paint. I spent the day asleep on the spare bed, and Ozzy spent it asleep on top of the sofa in the lounge.
Friday
I laughed to myself today as Ozzy was again taken to the vets for a check-up to see if he was better. He is still on his tablets, but he is OK now.
