Fortnight 168
Monday
Autumn is really here now, the leaves are falling off the trees and the paths are covered in leaves that have dropped off. I love playing with leaves that are blowing in the wind. I spend ages in the garden chasing leaves like this, I'm still a kitten at heart!
Tuesday
I spent a long time outside today as Ozzy was driving me mad. He keeps jumping on me and getting me annoyed.
Wednesday
This afternoon I fancied a comfortable place to sleep and I went for a snooze on the big bed. When I woke up, Ozzy was lying behind me with his back touching mine. I think it’s the closest we have been without fighting! Mum woke me up late afternoon with a cuddle and I lie there purring loudly as I got the love, but I didn't realise it was a trick and as I came around I was put in the cat carrier. I was carted off to the vets for my annual boosters. When the vet tried to cut my back claws I turned on him and tried to bite him, but he was very quick and had already got his hands out of the way. He then decided that I didn't really need them cutting and gave up!!!!
I was on the sofa next to dad trying to get some sleep tonight and Ozzy jumped on the sofa and on my back. I was less than amused and after growling at him to get off, I jumped down in a huff and went upstairs. I have found a place to hide in the back bedroom, so hopefully I can get some peace and quiet there.
Thursday
I brought 2 mice home for mum today. I left one by the front door and one on the path in the back garden, she found them both and thanked me and then threw them away. How ungrateful!
Friday
It was cold and rainy today and I spent the day asleep in my hiding place in the back bedroom.
Saturday
We had a guest in the house today so I came and said hello and then went for a sleep upstairs. That is, after I brought home another gift for mum.
I spent the night watching Ozzy nervously as he paced up and down the front room as he was restless. Thankfully though, he left me alone tonight.
Tuesday
I was sat on the floor tonight washing my paws and Ozzy was behind me on the sofa. He stood of the arm of the sofa and jumped onto my back. I was not impressed. I jumped around hissing at him, but he was still on my back. We had a quick fight and a long period of growling and hissing at each other. Ozzy ran and hid and mum let me outside to calm down. I was so mad that I didn't come home for bedtime. That kitten is getting on my nerves!
Wednesday
I think that they are sick of Ozzy and me fighting and I noticed that last night the Feliway Diffuser had been plugged back in. It doesn’t make any difference though, and we are still growling and fighting with each other. Today Ozzy ate my breakfast and I ate his, and the same at tea-time as well. Kitten food is so much tastier than mine.
Thursday
Another cold rainy day where we both spent the day inside sleeping. Winter is the best time to catch up on loads of sleep. I need my beauty sleep as it helps me to relax from the stressful existence of living with Ozzy.
