Fortnight 162
Sunday
It’s been a cold and rainy weekend and I have done nothing but sleep in various places around the house. I really don’t fancy going outside in the cold and rain. There are loads of places flooded in the UK, but we are OK…. No water in our house!
Tuesday
Another day spent in bed with mum. This evening I sat on the sofa next to dad and had a short nap there.
Thursday
I spent the afternoon in bed with mum, she has a new fleecy blanket which she covered herself up with. I snuggled into the blanket for a good long nap, she woke up later cold as I had taken all the blanket and was nicely wrapped up and warm!
Friday
I actually went outside for a bit today as there was a break in the rain. I only went out to go to the loo and then I came back inside for a sleep in the warmth.
Saturday
It’s my birthday today, I'm 7 years old. It must be why I am sleeping all the time, I'm getting old!
Sunday
I watched the Formula 1 again today, sat on mum’s knee getting cuddles. I think that this is a good way to watch boring TV!
Tuesday
Oooooooooh, I'm not happy today. In fact, I am rather stressed out. This morning 2 men came and removed our dining room table. It covers my bed and gives me privacy. The room looks massive and bare without the table, and my bed is rather exposed.
I didn't eat my breakfast and my tea was a sloppy packet of Turkey Gourmet, and I didn't fancy that either. I went outside this evening as it wasn’t raining (for a change). I didn't want to come in at bedtime when they called me, so I stayed outside for a night under the stars. Well, under the porch anyway!
Wednesday
Early this morning (around 5am) I decided that I didn't want to be outside any more and I started howling and running on the window to come in. No-one came to let me in though. Dad let me in as he left for work and I ran straight upstairs to mum and jumped on the bed. I was soaking and covered in mud and I made an awful mess of the duvet! When she came downstairs I ate my breakfast so quickly that I did a massive burp when I had finished! I am so hungry as I didn't eat anything yesterday. After my brekkie, I went upstairs for a day long nap on the muddy duvet!
Thursday
Another day of sleeping, I really am becoming quite lazy in my old age!
