Fortnight 161
Saturday
Hurray!!! No more eardrops today, but I did still get the pink tablet this morning and evening. My fur is still a mess from the eardrops, I feel so messy! No matter how much lick my head, I can't get rid of the greasy fur.
Sunday
I went out in the pouring down rain today for ages, and I managed to finally get all the greasy stuff off my head. I’m beautiful again!!!
Monday
I am still getting the tablets twice a day, but I don’t mind them too much. Mum has finally got the art of giving me tablets and it’s not too stressful now.
Tuesday
It has been raining all day today and I spent the day in bed with mum. She isn't feeling well again, so I get to cuddle up to her on the nice comfy bed and get some sleep – excellent!
Thursday
I have spent the last two days asleep. It’s heavy rain outside, and I have no wish to get soaked! I have made myself a little den in the back bedroom. I have worked my way inside the duvet and made myself a cat shaped hole so I can sleep there, in the warmth and not get disturbed.
Mum put those plastic ball things in my litter tray again, but I didn't need the loo all day, so I guess she isn't going to get a sample of my wee today!
Friday
I have been tricked. This morning when mum came down and let me out of the room, I got cuddles like normal and then instead of getting breakfast I was bundled into the cat carrier and taken to the vets again. I was really good when I was there and just sat quietly on the bench, I didn't hiss or try to bite the vet today. I have been signed off, I'm better!! Hurray!! No more tablets!! Even more hurray!!!!
Saturday
Another rainy day, so I spent it asleep in my den on the back bed. It’s so comfortable in there! When I got bored in there I decided to go downstairs and have another nap in my radiator bed.
Sunday
Today was the British Grand Prix. Normally I hate the motor racing, but today I sat on mum’s knee and watched the whole race.. it was quite nice. A comfortable seat with lots of cuddles and strokes…. The racing was boring to me, but the cuddles were lovely!
Tuesday
This morning when mum let me out of my room I wanted to get to the pigeons on the bird table. I tried to hint as such, by chirping in my best pigeon impression. All that happened was she laughed at me and started singing some 1960’s track at me “Chirpy, Chirpy, Cheep Cheep”. I was not impressed. She did let me out though after a while, but all the pigeons had gone by then! I spent the afternoon asleep on the bed. I was there for 5 hours and I didn't move my position once!
Wednesday
Dad let me out of the room this morning and I went running upstairs to join mum in bed. I did my chirping impression to her again, and she gave me a cuddle.. at least she didn't sing to me today!
Thursday
Another rainy day and I spent the entire day asleep in my radiator bed. A lady came to see dad this morning, but I ignored her and carried on sleeping!
