Saturday
We all had a quiet day today. We watched TV and took life at the easy pace!
Monday
Once again dad disappeared this morning leaving mum and I in the house. It’s very odd with the 2 of us here.
Mum has been really busy in the garden today, she mowed the lawn and fed it and then got the pressure washer out and washed down the patio and BBQ area. I hate the pressure washer and I hid inside until it was all finished! When she had finished the garden, mum took Sid out for a swim in the kitchen sink and I was made to sit out on the patio, which was still wet, so I was less than happy!
Wednesday
Mum spent ages this afternoon cleaning out Sid’s vivarium. I had to wait outside as she knew I would get in the tank if I had half the chance. I watched her take everything out, disinfect it all and put everything back! While it was drying Sid came out for a swim to keep his skin soft as he is about to shed. Then the 3 of us sat in the lounge. Sid on his plastic sheet and mum watching him and me… checking that I don’t attack him. I soon got bored of this and went for a wander around the house.
I came in this evening with a massive cobweb on my tail. Mum was busy taking pictures of it, and I got really bored, so I ate it!!!! I know it’s a bit gross, but that’s me for you!
Thursday
Sid came out for a swim again today, I'm sick of this, I want more attention!
Friday
Dad came home this afternoon, I had nearly forgotten what he looked like!
Sunday
It was dad’s birthday today. He got to open his cards and presents, and I got to play in the all the waste paper, everyone was happy! This evening mum and dad went out and I had a nap in my room. They came back with loads of floating balloons which really freaked me out.. especially when they tried to trick me and attach them to my tail!! I didn't fall for it though, I didn't fancy the thought of floating around the house!
Also today Sid came out for a play in the lounge, and he wasn’t too happy about being brought out of his warm vivarium. He crawled straight across the floor and hid in mum’s umbrella. Everytime she tried to get hold of him he lunged at her, so I made myself scarce in case he attacked me!
Tuesday
Mum and dad have been out loads this week and coming back late at night, I am getting lots of cuddles when they come back, but I hate spending so much time on my own.
Wednesday
They stayed in today, so I got a bit more attention today. Dad was grumbling something about Big Brother starting tonight, and mum seemed happy.. I wonder what that is all about?
Tonight mum was taking pictures of me, and I was really close to the camera and mum took a picture. I was touching the camera with my nose I was so close and she flashed it at me.. I was blind for ages after that and went for a sulk in my radiator bed!
Thursday
Not much to report today. The weather was awful and I spent most of the day sleeping… the best way to spend boring days!
