Sunday
I’m still not well at all. I was sick a number of times in the front room today and I have had diarrhoea on the neighbours garden. I'm not very popular at the moment!!
Monday
I went back to the vets this morning and I am so ill that they kept me in overnight. I was given steroid injections, anti-biotics by IV and I was on a drip all night as I am so dehydrated.
Tuesday
I was allowed to come home this afternoon. It’s so good to be home. I slept for the rest of the day as I still feel really ill.
Wednesday
They gave me some food to come home with, and I really don’t like it. I haven't eaten anything yet since I have been home. But, then I'm not really hungry as I feel really bad.
Friday
I went back to the vets this morning and I was given another antibiotic injection and some new tablets to come home with. It’s not the tablets that I hate the most, it’s the brown paste that mum has to put on my tongue twice a day that’s really awful! My temperature was up a lot today so they are still really worried about me. They did give mum some new food though as I haven't eaten anything since I came home on Tuesday. They have given her the same stuff but in gravy, and it’s lovely. I have been lapping it up like there is no tomorrow!
Sunday
I am starting to feel a bit more like myself, I am glad I am finally starting to beat this bad bug I have caught. I am still loving the new food and I am starting to eat a more normal amount.
Monday
I went back to the vets this morning. My temperature is back to normal and I don’t have to go back again. They did give mum more of that awful paste and some more tablets to give me though, so I have to go through this awful routine for another week!
Tuesday
I spent most of today sleeping on the patio in the sun. It has been a lovely week here, spring is definitely here, and I have started to sunbathe already!
Wednesday
I managed to trick mum this morning. She thought I had taken my tablet and swallowed it, but I ran off and spat it out behind the sofa! I thought I was really clever, unfortunately she spotted it at lunchtime and gave it to me again! Bah! Foiled!!!
This afternoon mum spent a while in the garden tidying it up after winter. I sat on the wall and watched until she got out the hosepipe, then I ran off and hid in the house where I could not get wet!
Thursday
Today I have been asleep under the duvet on the spare bed. It was lovely and warm and I had a nice nap! Mum was playing on the games console and dad was working, so I didn't miss anything!
