Tuesday
Today was a very quiet day after the cleaning day yesterday. I spent the day asleep on my radiator bed. All the bedding off the spare bed was taken off today, I wonder why?
Thursday
I think that spring may be on the way. The weather is getting a bit warmer and I can feel spring in my body. I am starting to moult and I need a brush badly, I hope that mum realises this as I can't do it myself!
This afternoon I was really thirsty. I couldn’t be bothered to go downstairs to my water bowl, so I decided today would be a good time to try the water in the big bowl in the bathroom. I managed to have a drink without being noticed, but unfortunately, I left my calling card! I left fluff (I did say I was moulting and needed a brush) and some muddy paw prints on the seat and on the bowl where I had my paws so I didn't fall in the water. I think I was sussed out, as now the toilet seat is left down and the bowl is closed off!
Friday
Today mum spent the day cleaning up and hoovering, there must be something going on as this isn't usually done on a Friday. She also made up the bed in the spare bedroom. I guess that someone is coming to stay.
Saturday
The dog lady came today with a bag which she put in the spare bedroom, I guess she is the visitor that mum was expecting. It is also mums’ birthday and she spent the morning opening cards which are now all on the hearth. I smelt a few of them, they smell of cats!
This evening mum, dad and the dog lady all went out for the evening. When they came back the dog lady sat on the sofa with the legs reclined. I jumped up and went to sleep on the leg part with my head on her leg. It was lovely, I got loads of cuddles!
Sunday
Today was mum and dad’s wedding anniversary and they spent a while opening cards and presents. I love playing in the wrapping paper and I had an excellent time pouncing on all the bits of paper on the floor! It all got tidied away quite quickly though, which was a shame!
Monday
Another usual Monday of cleaning and washing. Mum and dad are off together and I got cuddles from dad whilst mum was busy.
Tuesday
Spring is definitely here, and I got a brush tonight. Loads of dead fur came out, I think I will need another one very soon. I am also quite nervous at the minute, but that is because it is spring and all the male cats are out looking for ladies. I spent most of tonight re-scenting the furniture in the house, so I am sure that is all mine!
Thursday
Mum is packing a bag, I think she must be going into hospital again, it’s the only time she packs a bag now. It will mean that next week I get lots of love whilst she recovers and is not able to do much. I know that it is selfish, but I love the recovery time cuddles!!
