Saturday
New Years Eve
Mum and dad went out for a bit this evening and came home shortly after midnight as they were worried about me being in the house on my own with all the fireworks going off in the area. I was OK though. When mum came in, she picked me up for a cuddle and I was only shaking a little bit, I don't think she noticed! They stayed up in the lounge for ages listening to music and playing with me. Towards the end I was really tired as I am not used to staying up so late, and I went into my bedroom and lay down on my cushion. Within minutes I was sound asleep, dreaming of revenge on Henry and mice…..
Sunday
New Years Day
I am so tired today. Mum and dad were watching TV, but that was too much effort for me. I stayed in bed and snored all day. I only came out for something to eat at tea-time!
Tuesday
Oh no!
My privacy has been stolen! In my last diary, I made the following entry : -
• Mum got dad a new CCTV camera for him to use inside or outside. It works in the dark and they have put it in my room. I think they are spying on me to see what I do in the night. Well, just to spite them, I am going to be really boring and sleep all night!
Well, tonight they moved the camera to spy on me. I am so annoyed with this that I made sure that I sat really still and didn't move much, so that they had nothing to watch! I was sat on the windowsill in the lounge, I love doing this at night as I get a good view of the street, but I am lovely and warm as I am over the radiator… as I was sat there dad came and put the camera on me and then turned on the TV to watch me. You can see by the pictures below, that I wasn't being very interesting ! I hope that this is just a fad and they stop spying on me soon.. well, they don't call it spying. They call it “Curious about what he (meaning me!) is doing”.
Thursday
A new lady came today and she was cleaning our house. She smelt of different cats, and she gave me loads of cuddles. I love new cat people coming to the house as I get loads of attention then! They all think I'm dead cute and cuddle me loads.. I found it hard to decide whether to stay for a cuddle or run away and hide as she was holding the hoover, which frightens the life out of me! I decided to be a complete stroke tart and stay for the love.
Friday
I think I have upset mum, and she has definitely upset me. I spent the afternoon on their bed. Mum has been putting a sheet over the bed lately to stop me getting muddy marks on the duvet and also leaving black fluff all over their bed and pillows… well, it is REALLY cold here at the minute and I wanted to snuggle up somewhere nice and warm for my afternoon / early evening nap. I found a way under the sheet and curled up, nice and warm on the bed with a cover over me.. I had been blissfully asleep for a number of hours when I was rudely awoken by a large weight on my paw. It turns out that mum had come upstairs with a basket of clean washing, she had put it on the bed and then put her arm down and leant on the bed for a minute whilst sorting out the washing. She didn't realise, but she had put her hand down on the edge of my back paw. I was less than happy with this, being dragged out of a lovely dream, and I let her know this with a rather loud meow. Then I pulled myself out from under the sheet and ran downstairs to wait by my bowl for my tea. I think she is upset as I was rather wet and muddy when I went up for my nap, and I left a muddy cat shape print on their duvet! She upset me by leaning on my paw.
Sunday
Another cold day today, and another attempt to snuggle up under the sheet over the bed. They soon realised where I was hiding and came and got me out. I had to finish my nap on top of the sheet and I was not nearly as warm or comfy!
Monday
They are still filming me…. I wish that they would stop it… unless of course, they started to pay me for starring in their shows! I make sure all I do is sleep when the camera is on me though.. they are not getting an insight into the depths of MY mind…
Wednesday
We had guests in the house today… the dog lady that comes quite often, and a new one. The new one smells of dogs, but she is definitely a cat person. I got loads of loves and cuddles off her. I made sure I put on my best cute cat performance and it certainly paid off…
Thursday
It was another cold and windy day here, and I spent it asleep in the back bedroom. I have given up trying to sleep under the sheet as I keep getting moved.. it really does interrupt my sleep pattern being woken up and moved on… I have decided, at least for the next day or so to sleep somewhere else!
