That home shopping channels submit low wave frequencies - some are immune it and some are'nt.

As in blipvert type advertising?? I never watch those shopping channels any more. A number of years ago, Mike and I were watching QVC late one night under the influence of a number of alcholic drinks. A few days later a £400 video camera arrived at our door. We had ordered it whilst drunk, and didn't remember!! We don't watch them any more!!

The British goverment turn a blind eye to alcohol problems in the UK because of the tax revenues that they make from it

It's not just the UK. Australian governments are the same. The courts also turn a blind eye to alcohol abuse and subsequent anti-social behaviour of high profile sportsmen. No conviction recorded this week for 3 footballers who had punched into a couple in a pub. Didn't want to spoil their 'good' reputations, so ordered they teach kids about the dangers of alcohol. Hmmmph! As if they'll do that! Makes a mockery of the courts. The other fellow wasn't so lucky. He retalliated so was fined thousands of dollars for his part because he was a normal bloke.
