STAIR CLIMBER (We Are Stumped)
MY WHOLE FAMILY IS COMPLETELY STUMPED!!! Can you figure it out?!?!?!
Each morning a girl leaves her apartment on the 20th floor, gets on the elevator, rides to the first floor, gets off the elevator, leaves the building and goes to school. Each afternoon the girl returns from school, enters the building, gets on the elevator, rides to the 10th floor, gets off the elevator, climbs the stars to the 20th floor, and returns to her apartment. Why does she climb the last 10 flights ?? :?: |

Hehe..this is one of the oldest and simplest lateral thinking puzzles going. Rather than give you the answer, here's a hint to push you in the right direction...
Walking up the stairs has nothing to do with exercise, and if she came home from school with her parents, then they would be able to ride the elevator all the way to the 20th floor. Hope this helps!  | ||||||||
