Motorway Rubbish

I frequently have to drive down motorways or freeways as some of you may call them. I never cease to be amazed at the items that are strewn around the hard shoulder or the central reservation.

I do however wonder why there always seems to be an odd shoe or Wellington boot, where do they come from, how do they get there :?: :-k

Anybody any theory's :?:

When I used to do work as a contractor tradesman I'd often lose 1 boot out of the back of my truck when I hit a bump and it would pop out.

I've NEVER seen any boots or anything on roads?

however we saw a baby shoe - how did that get on the side of the motorway then!!!

Catz - you are not looking at the hard shoulder hard enough if you have never seen shoes there...

Ah yes, but there arent many motorways in Ireland

And I have seen alot of them.
I'm not saying there are none I'm saying they are not common or exsistant in my parts of Ireland.
Where I have been or where I live.

I watched a movie once about 'how to get away with murder'. The theory was that once a murder is committed the murderer should throw his/her shoes out the window of the car at different intervals to dispose of any evidence. :!:

I guess this makes sense if you are that way inclined!
