As a yorkshire lass born & bred i was infuriated 2 hear that the ppl of the E.U have now decided that good ole Yorkshire puddings shouldn't be called that anymore b.coz the ingredients can be bought anywhere

I agree, the E.U are interfering with things that they should leave well alone.. it's only a name after all!
I am into reading George Orwell, and I am reading his book of essays. There is a short essay about British cooking that was written in 1940 something.. and it says in there that one of the best things he had eaten was a slice of Yorkshire pudding in someone's house in Yorkshire.. The reason I mention this is because Yorkshire Pudding has obviously been around a lot longer than the E.U, so they should leave things well alone! MadCat
