Default LUCK

If it is unlucky to open an umbrella indoors..how bout this...

If you are in a stadium watching say a footy match & it is raining therefore you have an umbrella up but you are in one of those stadiums/ stadia(?) where the roof goes across & they put the roof across whilst your umbrella is open.....is that STILL unlucky??

Hmmm?? Thought bout this one one my way home in the pouring rain last night!

Not sure if it is unlucky or not but it isn't really indoors if it is raining on you is it.

Default Good Point pimpess

I don't think it would be unlucky as you are not really indoors!!

But hey, rather make your own luck!!!!

I'm gonna have to agree with you on that one, the minute you start to

worry about superstitions, the actually become true. So my advise is to

just live your life without any vices and make your own luck. Every

person has their spell of bad luck and some people have more bad luck

than others but at the end of the day it is what we make of it that counts

in the end.

Sorry to ramble on but I am against superstitions and other such "myths"

which society has drilled into us as bringing on bad luck.

Can't say I am in agreement but what I can say is that if it is raining on

you and your umbrella is open then it isn't bad luck but the minute it stops

raining on you, it becomes bad luck to have an umbrella open. Although

in the "olden days" as they call it, it used to be fashionable for women to

walk outside with an umbrella protecting their faces from the harsh rays

of the sun. This to is fine but the minute they are indoors, it should be

closed and put away. I think where this superstition came from is people

leaving umbrellas open or walking indoors with open umbrellas and

injuring other people in the process, therefore creating "bad luck" as one

would call it.

Well, maybe this gives everyone a bit more insight and at least you'll be

getting more than one opinion which is always a good thing.
