Primate Belly Buttons

OK, I may sound strange here, but,

I was lying in bed the other night unable to sleep and suddenly wondered Do Monkeys have Belly Buttons :?:

I have no idea why that thought popped into my head

So can anybody answer the question 8-[

Havent got a clue - but you really need to get a girlfriend/boyfriend (no offence meant there but have to be P.C. these days!!)

Hi Mike

I just had to look this up on the internet and found out that every mammal, from the gigantic blue whale to the tiny bumblebee bat, has a belly button. It marks the place where a mammal was connected to its mother before birth.

So there you go. It wasn't such a crazy thought after all!

i really wouldnt have gone that far to find out the information haha!

Interesting though & actually now I think about it, it seems quite obvious that they would have one under the circumstances (ie attachment to mother etc!)

Ahh here's a question for you then.....do they have sticky out ones or not haha!!!
