Good answer.
Here in Australia, they said it was international. They have been asking kids all week, and I thought that some of them had some really good answers. As for me, I would say because she has always fed me when I was hungry (luckily I learned how to cook). And to all the mother's out there Happy mother's day And belated one's too |

I think I gave myself food poisoning for Mother's Day as I have been so sick since I ate the lunch I cooked

It's mothers day in South Africa today as well...
I think it's the same day as the Americans celebrate... I know mothers day in the UK is diferent... typical americans have to be different BTW... does everybody in the UK have Laminate flooring these days???? I've been looking at houses for rent/sale over there as we've decided we are moving back in May next year (Beginning of English Summer and end of SA Summer)... all the houses seem to have laminate flooring... I hate laminate flooring |

Well, we haven't entirely written Aus off
BUT having done some price comparisons (via online shopping on the internet), Aus looks really expensive to live in... At the exchange rate, things in the UK cost basically the same as things in SA (bar one or two excepctions) but at the exchange rate I would earn +- 1.5 times what I earn here PLUS there are benefits in the UK (such as national healthcare, education etc which costs next to nothing in the UK which we have to pay for oursleves in SA(which is not cheap) I would earn nearly double in Aus to what I earn here, but things seem to cost 3 times as much Also most of my family and friends are in the UK so we are thinking, move to the UK and if the long winters really get us down, we can always emmigrate to Aus from there |
