MUSIC: What Im listening to this week

I have been listening to Reverend Horton Heat this week, and I went to see them last night. They are a rockabilly/psychobilly band. Last night they were great, they also did a few covers - I always like a strange version of a song - rockabilly version of Greensleeves anyone? They also did Black Sabbath and Nirvana covers

I am a fan of Green Day and Nick Cave too - also I saw Grinderman (Cave's other band) in London last year supported by Seasick Steve - he was ace too!

I'm getting the Tenacious D album tomorrow.

I had to order it last week, and I'm picking it up tomorrow. My poor boyfriend is going to be listening to Tenacious D for the next 6 months non-stop.

Ive only heard one track of Rev Horton.

Im listening to Black Stone Cherry, I purchased their album after hearing a track on the radio

I have been listening to the new Alice Cooper album. It's his best work for ages and I really like it. Its a move back to the earlier stuff and better in my opinion.

Looks like I may have to visit the music store.

Been to 2 of his concerts and I think he is a great performer.

Glad to see he's still going strong.

Alice Cooper does the breakfast show on www.planetrock.com (UK Time)

Its worth a listen
