My first job (excluding a paper round) was a toolsetter in a rivet making factory, then I joined the RAF and spent many a happy year tripping around the world. Now I'm self-employed and sub contract to Bae Systems.

On the subject of jobs. How do you know what job is for you?
For some reason, completly out of nowhere I've started thinking about becoming a vetenarian. I don't know why but I've been thinking about it over the last few days. I've found out that I have the qualifications required to enter an undergraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh as because I'm in Scotland I wouldn't pay tuition fees, so I can certianly afford this change of carrer. How do I know that this is what I really want. I used to be dead set on my career when I was 10 but that all changed and I don't want that career anymore. Since then I've never been sure of what I want to do with my life. So how did you know what you wanted? or did you just 'fall into' your careers?
