Question Tired and Hung Over

Im shattered today, I think I had a little bit too much vodka last night

I cant seem to be able to handle excess like I used to, I must be getting old

Im so thirsty and lethargic

Has anybody else over done it over christmas?

Mike...

I went out last night too. I've slept all day so the hangover has obviously passed.

At the beginning of December I hit my pinki toe on a plug socket in the flat (this story is going somewhere I promise). I thought nothing of it until it turned black a few hours later. I didn't do anything about it deciding (as a qualified first aider) that even if it was broken there was no point in going to hospital. So I strapped it to the toe next to it and hobbled about in flat shoes for a few weeks.

Its now healed but isn't the same shape as the other toe. I'm now sure it was broken.

I wore high heels last night and was standing all night because there were no seats in the club. I may not be hungover but my toe is suffering.

Any connection between your reality and mine is completly coincidental

Ooh broken toe, that can be painful. I broke my big toe at judo about 12 years ago. I didnt bother going to the hospital either as there is nothing they can do. Its never been quite right since though

My hangover is much better now but I still feel tired *yawn*

OOOOOH, that sounds painful... your story about your toe and the high heels made me wince in sympathy for you!

Hope you are feeling better now... maybe wear flatter shoes if you are going out on New Year ?? !!!

Then your not trying hard enough

I never used to get hangovers. I think as the years have gone by my liver and kidneys are less able to cope with the overload of alchohol

I have been bladered for a long time now. I have enough problems staying upright when sober never mind when Im drunk

The women in my family don't get hangovers either.

Some people are just lucky I guess

Not a drop passed my lips the whole christmas & new year period .
We went away to Scarbourough for the holidays so I was always driving Monster Munch about to see family & friends.
Plus the last time there I was so in the spirit of things (or was the spirit in me) I was asleep in the garden on the trampoline .
