i have never seen a beach like it, miles of seriously white sands that just takes your breath away! we stayed in Corralejo (the nice beach is about 2km away) and theres plenty to do, we just didnt take enough money to do it all lol! theres loads of excursions to do, like taking quads up the mountains and to see the old volcano, or trips over to lanzarote for the day. the one thing i really wanted to do though was take a catamaran ride to lobos island-once there you could use the jetskies, go snorkelling, go on the banana boat and all sorts. food and drink all included in the price, however it would have been over 100 euros n we just didnt have it spare! we'll dfinately be going back tho, there's some really nice british family pubs there with good entertainment and nice people. next time tho we'll be taking more money lol!

Sounds like a nice holiday... I'm jealous!!!
I went to Lanzarote about 16 years ago. We stopped there for 2 days on a cruise ship. We called it Lanzagrotty! I also went scuba diving there and burst my ear drums and had to fly home 2 days later, which was rather painful! MadCat

lol! i must break the mould! had cereal & jam on toast for breakfast most days & never touched the tea (cos its weak & horrible!). it was too hot some days tho. dont get me wrong, i love hot weather, but over there its really windy & it makes 30degrees feel like 20, which i think can be quite dangerous! its hard to remind yourself to put your suncream on when your comfortable & dont feel like your burning!
do like my english pubs tho. i like the locals there, but where we stayed only catered for the germans so we were a little out numbered and after a few days it can get a little harsh not hearing another english voice so it was nice to get away from it at night. great apartments tho! if anyone ever goes to Corralejo then Brisamar is the place to stay (english aparantly go there self catering) its a perfect location for everything. despite being the minority, i'd stay there if i went back!
