Where’s your next holiday going to be?

i’ve been speak to a few people at work and it seems everyone is gearing up for a holiday some time soon or in a few months time. some crazy’s (i say that in the nicest possible way) are thinking of going somewhere cold to do some skiing … just as summer is on its way to the uk. granted its taken its time to make an appearance, but haven’t people had enough of the cold??? am i the only one who thinks this???

anyway, i though it would be nice to share and find out if any of you guys and galls are planning a holiday. you never know you could inspire other siliconhell ppl to go somewhere new!

so … where are you going to? how long are you going for? who you going with?

me … i’m planning a 2 week holiday to toronto, canada in august with my b/f

I'm off to Spain in 2 weeks time with wife and daughter. A weeks all-inclusive hol with all the upgrades for half price cos my wife works for a travel company

Also going camping for a week the first week of the summer hols and taking one of my daughters friends as well! Could regret that decision

I was going to Australia next month with my mum for a month, but had to cancel as I wasnt well enough to go.. not good!

And you don't think that Canada's not Cold Hopefully your b/f will keep you warm

Actually, it isn't all that expensive, especially if you are paying in pounds... you can fly in from Johannesburg for 7 nights for a little over R7000-00 (+- £500-00) per person for dinner, bed and breakfast(incl airfare) .. plus I spent about R4000-00 (+-£280-00) so, all you'd have to pay on top of that is your airfare to Johannesburg which you can get for about £ 400-00 so all in all would cost you about £ 1000-00 per person for the entire week...
I'll get a website up and running and post some Pics I took... Plus we just got 2 kittens yesterday, so want to post some pics of them too

okay i'm not crazy (well most of the time I’m not hehe ) .... were going in august which is their summer time so it should be warm enough that my poor b/f doesn’t melt in the sun and nice and warm that my bones don’t complain

that place looks amazing ... not to bad in price either. the last holiday i had was in Mauritius, went for my sisters wedding ... it was awesome u could sit on the beach and have drinks delivered to you ... i never got tired of that

Was really nice... never been to Mauritius... would like to go
Mozambique is so close (closer to Johannesburg than Cape Town) and yet this is the first time I've ever been there will definitely go back again... PLUS they have really good local beer there

Well I think it's one Boy and one Girl...
haven't actually decided on names yet as my daughters want to name them... but I thought Gizmo and Widget were good names

Holidays hmm well we are off to Cornwall for a week in May not the most exotic of places but Monster Munch does'nt fly

So its off across the moors & round the coastline for us Geocaching (google it) gps in hand just enjoying the walk/cycle ride

As our boy is away with friends in Spain in May we thought we would take the chance for a weeks break as the prospect of letting him have the house to himself at 18 was just a non starter
