Default What colour are the walls where you are?

Employees have revealed they get depressed when they work in an office that is painted blue.

Yellow offices made staff feel happy, energised and more focused on their work.

Employees said they felt angrier and more passionate if there was more red than any other colour, while black made them feel "tougher."

The research by Konica Minolta also found that grey offices made workers feel "dull."

A spokesman from the company said: "This study shows that it is not just Monday mornings, the rush hour or having to work late that can affect the office environment - colour has a huge impact."

Im at work and the walls are light blue, some of them are yellow. So according to the study above I should feel depressed but energised :!: Its about right

What colour are the walls where you are :?:

The walls in my office are light grey with dark grey skirtings. The floor is also grey. The only thing that is not grey is the desks and doors :!:

The main factor that changes my mood at work is whether or not someone has turned the aircon off Particularly on days like today when the sun is streaming through the window and the windows don't open. Gets a bit stuffy.....makes me sleepy

The walls are white, the fittings are white, the cupboards are white, the shelves are white...however, this uniformity of colour is broken up by black benchtops, a black desk and a black computer. So all that black makes me feel tougher, but what does the white do? Apart from suggesting that the decorators were either on some sort of minimalist kick, or just had no imagination :?:

Now that would be a good idea! VERY safe - no pointy bits on the walls - plus you'd never be bored. One can never be bored with that much bubble wrap to play with!

We have white walls with blue carpeting

I like the bubble wrap idea but I wouldnt get any work done due to my compulsion to pop it.

Then again it would give new meaning to 'banging your head against a wall'
