The "official" National Gallery is in Canberra. After all, it is our nations capital!!!

However there are many excellent galleries around Australia.


L7 was one of my favourite bands for a long time. I loved the album "Hungry for Stink".

The other two have both been the capital at some point, so I could be persuaded that the national gallery was in either city... I won't drag out this useless conversation though.

What I loved about the cities were that it was free to enter the great places like the galleries and the botanical gardens. In the UK you'd pay a fortune for those things!
