I had to take Peanut (pet rat) to the vets last night - one way trip

We only had her for just over 5 months but she became ill - me and other half blubbering in the vets office while we agreed to have the poor sole put to sleep

Our dog has been very quiet since we got back and I still need to tell our friends daughter (she's 13) who got us the rat for a christmas present.

We will be getting 2 others soon, you can never replace any pet - even one you have had for a short time, but I find it easier to have a new friend or two about

I've got really bad toothache. It feels like the pain is coming from my bones instead of my tooth. I'm planning on calling the emergancy dentist tomorow morning but it's currently 2:40am and I still haven't slept.

I think I'm going to cry.

Thanks. You're right it's not nice.

I managed to get an appointment at the dentist. At first she couldn't find a problem. Then she took an X-Ray. Turns out I have an infection in the root of my tooth. I now have to get root treatment. Scary stuff.

I'm still in pain though, didn't sleep at all and just started an 8 hour shift. I think I'll go home early today if I can.
