I woke up this morning with a start because there was someone at the door. I ran out of the room and went to run down the stairs. My foot slipped forward and I feel backward landing butt first on the second top step. I then proceeded to slide butt first down two or three steps before coming to a stop, I then to jump back up and ran down the stairs to answer the door.

My lower back hurts Think I hit my Coxex (tailbone at the base of my spine). I can definetly see the funny side tho.

I knew I'd posted that story somewhere. It just took me 5 mins to find it. It happened on Monday, I'm feeling better now, still a lil sore.

Have just been given the details of my interview tomorrow and it's in an area of town I've never been to before all I have is a print out of google maps. I'm going an hour early to make sure I get there on time.

I'm definetly feeling nervous now

Leaving early is a great idea

Why not ring them and ask for directions, or get as close as you know then ask a taxi driver, or get a taxi.

Thanks for the good luck wishes. I think I needed them.

I had a nightmare of a time getting to the interview. I decided to go by bus which meant 2 busses. The first bus was almost 20 mins late (but still made me on time for the second bus) but the second bus didn't stop for me. I was furious
So I went to the nearst train station knowing I could probably make it. The train pulled into the station just as I was arriving so I had to runn over the bridge to the platform, in heels and a skirt. I'm sure it looked funny to everyone else When I got off the train there was a little confusion as to which direction I was going in using the map so I ditched it and used the road signs instead, remembering the name of the streets.

I did make it on time. 15 mins early to be precise and I think it went well. They want to fill the position quickly so I sould hear early next week.

I have to admit that it was maddening at the time but I now see it as an adventure. One of life's little sub plots

It was very stressful I'd managed to calm down by the time I'd got there. After I ran for the train I thought to myself "this job better be worth it!"

As usual it's the weather

It's very foggy here today and hasn't cleared at all I went to bed at midnight ish and it was foggy then. I woke up at 9:30 and it hasn't cleared.

So it's getting dark now since there's no sunlight.
