There are some advantages to living in South Africa, besides from having the biggest shopping Mall in the Southern Hemisphere

The nice thing about the Pilansberg is, that even tho it's not as big as the Kruger National Park, it's only about 1 1/2 hours drive from Johannesburg, so you can go for a weekend and it has all the animals that the KNP has... whereas the Kruger Park is nearly 5 hours away

LOL... well South Africa certainly has it's problems and I have seriously been considering moving back to the UK or even possibly emigrating to Australia (I have checked and I do qualify to get in to Aus) BUT living in SA still has a lot of advantages... the Weather, modern cities, large modern housing with large gardens and swimming pools that you can actually swim in most of the year, a summer which lasts 8 months of the year and one is not too far from the Bush, african wildilfe or Golden Unspoiled Beaches with warm Indian ocean waters...
Obviously, Aus has most of this as well
England has the Advantage of being in Europe. I have done some calculations and I would probably be better off financially in living the UK than I am here in SA PLUS I have family and friends in England but there's no Kruger Park or Pilansberg

Hmmmm It's a tuffy. Uk with it's terrible unpredictable weather and lack of summer or Australia with it's sunny skies and sandy beaches (and Tim Tams)...

There would be no contest if it were me.
The only thing keeping me here really is my boyfriend. He'd never come to Australia with me
Last year I went a bit crazy after I found out that BankWest in Perth Aus is part of the company I work for, it would mean getting a visa would be easier. I went a bit insane for a while I even looked up houses and flats for rent on the internet

I soon calmed down after a few weeks. I want to go there on holiday now.

Well, living in SA I already get Sunny Skies and Sandy Beaches PLUS African Wildlife... mordern first world Cities etc... So I don't really want to leave SA... sadly though, things seem to becoming unravelled here (crime etc)... I'm going to stick SA out until after the World Cup and see what happens, maybe things will improve... I'll make a decision after that

Me? Sarcastic?!?............Yea a little.

I'd love to have that kind of wildlife on my doorstep. That would be amazing. The most we have here is a warren of rabbits that live around my workplace. Oh and rats but they've put traps down for them apparently they are a health and saftey risk.

Well, we don't quite having wild animals roaming the streets, maybe a few ferral cats and rats as well but generally there are game reserves a couple of hours drive away... It's the best of both worlds really... mordern city life with the bush wildlife within easy reach
