I'm on standby this week(since last week Friday), which really hasn't been great 'cos we've had lots of problems... so have been sitting up late fixing jobs on the Mainframe  At least it's only another 3 nights and then I'm off  Chicken Curry Recipe on it's way Mike

Im happy because it's Friday today
And, I have just sat eating my lunch whilst watching squirrels scamper round my garden. They are busy scoffing the seed that has fallen out of the bird feeders. One of them has been eating for ages, if he scoffs much more I dont think that he is going to be able to climb back up the trees  Another good thing today is that MadCat has just got a new food processor for the kitchen. She is therefore in a cooking mood and has gone to the shops to buy the ingredients for chocolate brownies

I got a new Kenwood Chef (proper mixer for baking and bread making). Have just made some brownies and they smell gorgeous. I think I will have eaten them before they cool!

I went to a family funeral today (which wasn't very nice), but while I was there I got a CD of my Great Aunt talking in 1979 when she was 90 about her life and how she came over from Russia with her mum when she was 10. It was so fascinating. It was lovely to hear her voice as she passed away in 1989 and I only have a few memories of her.
It has made me really happy to hear her story and my families story and hear her voice and bring back some nice childhood memories. MadCat

why i'm happy TODAY
today is me and my wife's 4th wedding anniversery
and she spoilt me rotten this morning, knowng that i'm going to reply the favor this evening with some romantic dinner, music, etc............
