New Guy With A (Probably) Stupid Question

hi.
i stumbled across this site due to my addiction to Excel quizzes (i have almost 200 of them)! is there anybody that can show me how to create them as i dont have a clue where to begin? i know i'm stupid, but i cant help it!

You have to have a good knowledge of how to write formula in excel. If you don't know this then you will not be able to start. I advise you to go on an excel course.

There are no stupid questions, however there are many stupid answers.

To write a quiz in excel you need:

Firstly, find something that you can do a quiz on.

Get a load of pictures that you can use, or clues. Make sure that the answers are correct and can be verified. You get some rude emails saying you are incorrect in your answers sometimes!

Open excel and a blank spreadsheet. Open 2 pages in this sheet. One is for the quiz, one is hidden for the answers.

On sheet 1, put in your pictures. On sheet 2 put in your answers. You then use formula to compare the 2.

i.e

IF(answercellonsheet1=answeronsheet2),1,0) )

the ,1,0 gives 1 point for correct.

The IF compares the 2 answers.

Then use simple SUM(..) to add up the points and give a final score.

If any of this doesnt make sense, you either need to read the online help in excel or go on a course.
