Im suffering withdrawal symptoms at the moment because there is no motorsport to watch. My favourite is F1 but it doesnt start until March 18th :-?
Mind you there is likely to be a lot of coverage and hype this year as there will be four British drivers. Lets hope they do well Do you think Lewis Hamiliton will score points in his first season, or maybe even in his first race :?: He was superb in the 2006 GP2 season, he isnt afraid to go for it or duel wheel to wheel. Mike... |

I'm in the same boat......
My work colleague does the marshalling for the GP. He is driving me nuts at the mo because of no races. He normally does the British as a warm-up and then he goes to do Canada and US.   Good thing is that he brings me the programmes back. I have the 2005 US GP that never was, with the official starting grid ! (saving that for a rainy day!). He now has his spot at Indy, he does Blue Flag at Turn 1 ! It is going to be interesting this year with everyone having to use Bridgestone tyres. Wonder how the McLaren and Renault will fair with them ? Kimmi in Ferrari, should be good, just really depends on how McLaren squares up this year. I think that Lewis has a good chance aslong as the car is there for him. He has been 'groomed' by McLaren for several years now, so they know what he is like..... I am also sure that Alonso will be able to advise him, well I hope he does. I hope that he does not turn out like a Montoya at times, but learns to keep his cool, like Alonso. DC in Red Bull, is my outside choice. Their car should be with it as it will be a 'pure' Newy car ! Davidson.... well he is getting the practice.. let's be honest here, he is just test driving and getting the miles in. Jenson.... I really do hope he has a much better year. He has consistantly been on the podium, which is great. Then the win should have lifted the team.... I would like to see a 3 way battle, Kimmi, Alonso and Jenson. Come on ye Cider Boy !!!!!!! Daz

I'd like to see Davidson score a few points, but Im not convinced that the team will give him the car and support he needs. Im hoping that DC has a good season but if Im truthful I think that he hast the car or age on his side. My hopes are on Lewis, Im not expecting him to win, Im expecting him to make things exciting (He was awesome in the GP2). Is it March yet Mike... |

I'm a huge F1 fan too.
It will take a little while to get used to Ferrari without Michael, but I'm gunning for Kimi - luv the Kimi. But I have to be patriotic and also back the Old Webber. He is just one of those drivers that has been in the wrong team at the wrong time. Hopefully he'll have better luck this year. Looking forward to the start of the season...can't wait |

Well said Mike....
JT has spoken about Kimmi asking him to keep his private life .... private. The thing is Ferrari have a lot of experience with wild boys.... Eddie Irvine ! Webber, now there is a thought.... stick him in a McLaren or BAR.....! Michael advising Kimmi ? Don't thing so, Kimmi is likely to tell Michael where to stick it.... Michael would be better in going into touring cars..... or go and join Montoya and Beckham in the US. I admire the skill and commitment that Michael has, but his sportsmanship leaves a lot to be desired.... I think he found that out the hard way this season. Ah well roll on March.... Daz
