Well it is that time of year again and the nominations for the BBC Sports Personality is out.
Equestrian star Zara Phillips, golfer Darren Clarke, tennis player Andy Murray, plus boxers Joe Calzaghe and Ricky Hatton are among the candidates. Cyclist Nicole Cooke, cricketer Monty Panesar, gymnast Beth Tweddle, darts champion Phil Taylor and Formula One's Jenson Button complete the list. Who is your money on ? I would like to see Monty get it, but I think Darren will. Daz

I think Andy Murray should win. He's had a stellar year, plus he should win for being one of only two players to beat Roger Federer all year!

I'd normally vote for one of the British F1 drivers, but this year I'd say Joe Calzaghe. He has been awesome this year :!:
Maybe next year I can vote for Lewis Hamilton (F1) Mike... |

Jenson Button definitely for finally winning a GP. Although I do enjoy watching Calazghe box.. I have got into boxing this year, so I am split who to vote for, but I think it has to be Button...

I thought David Walliams was going to be nominated for his cross channel swim as it is such an achievement considering he was on tour and is a professional comedian....
I would vote for him, if he was on the list. MadCat

There was probably too much media around Darren Clarke. He did say he didn't want it because of his cicumstances.
No-one else was really was in the frame. No too many boxing fans out there. But looking at the records over the year, she has done a hell of a lot.... So fix... yes..... I would of gave it to Dave Williams. Daz
