HELP NEEDED: Improved Donation System

Hello,

Our regulars may have noticed that a few things have changed in the past few weeks. One thing that has changed is that we now have a much improved Donation system. I have spent many hours with a coding guru helping him build the feature set.

Its much better as it now does a lot of the admin work automatically. This means that members who donate get Sponsor status much sooner. In turn this means they get quicker access to premium features such as unlimited downloads and loads more Arcade games.

OK this may sound lame, but, I need your help The new system has yet to be tested on our live system. What I need is a volunteer to test the system for real by donating some cash

If you are willing to help use this DONATE link. Let us know if it looks ok, works ok, etc... Please make a note of any errors.

All money donated goes towards paying the running costs of Siliconhell. We do not make any profit, in fact we make a loss. However we love the site and even some of our Members are OK We will therefore continue to put in hours and hours of work, and, keep on investing our own cash to keep the site going.

I've been wanting to donate for a while but didn't have the spare cash

Now I'm moving back in with my mum to save money (it's really difficult renting when you're my age) so on payday next week I'll be able to donate. YEY!

I'd like to add my sincere Thanks to those who have donated, and to those who intend to donate.

MadCat and I started Siliconhell nearly 8 years ago. We have put many hours into developing and administrating the site. We also have moderators such as Nutty_ZA, TheGuru and Surkdidat who have also given hours of their personal time to keep things going Oh, I must also mention our resident coder VinylJunky (I don't think he ever sleeps) and Gail_Otto our games tester

The positive feedback and help with the costs make it worth while. I admit that I get fedup with it all somedays, but not often If you are wondering why I occasionally get disillusioned its normally down to the impoliteness of people who rant that something isn't working. The most frequent reason for the problem is that the individual hasn't read what is on the screen

Anyway, I'll stop babbling now and go and spend the evening with my Valentine
