HOLIDAY - Spent a week at the Beach doing nothing but relaxing and watching the waves - chilling out - Going back for 3 weeks over Christmas to spend time on the sunny beach relaxing and drinking beer

Which Beach was that???
We last went to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve http://pilanesberggamereserve.com/index.html It's a lovely place and though not as nice as the Kruger Park, it's only about 1 1/2 to 2 hours drive from Johannesburg (whereas the Kruger National Park is about 5 Hours drive)... Would definitely recommend it if your coming to SA... Don't know where our next holiday will be as we're moving back to the UK within the next couple of months...

Silly me - just realised I'd asked the question, but hadn't provided my own reply!
 We've been to Lisbon so far this year (for the other half's birthday at the end of May) - it was great, very hilly, but very, very nice indeed. On 24 August we're off to Sitges (just down the coast from Barcelona) for 9 days, followed by 3 days in Berlin. Yes, strange mixture, but when you're using Easyjet for the flights and fancy 2 places it can bring up some odd combinations!  Can't wait to get away
