Makes the day drag and makes me feel unneeded/undervalued. It's just how I feel today. I normally like the quiet days but there's no-one for me to talk to so I'm bored and brooding.

Yes it is. I feel a bit better now because I helped a customer who was extreamly appreaciative (correct spelling?). That always makes me feel better.
